Chic HK 2020
Chic HK 2020 is a lifestyle trade event held in Guangzhou, China. The event helped 80 Hong Kong companies build brand awareness and test consumer response in the South China market. The visual concept mixes traditional and simplified Chinese characters to form a new typography for the event title. Three primary colours were added to the graphics and used to mark the different lifestyle sectors. The exhibition covered 9000 square metres over two floors and ran for four days. A large graphic on the glazed facade and a 3D welcome backdrop greeted visitors.
Chic HK 2020 Lifestyle Event by Hong Kong Trade Development Council has been recognized as an innovative illustration of service design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Chic HK 2020 Lifestyle Event earned the Iron A' Design Award in Event and Happening Design in 2021. The A' Event and Happening Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize which recognizes outstanding design of trade fairs, award ceremonies, festivals, conferences, exhibitions, concerts, product launches, charity events and more.
