RareMe
RareMe is a mobile application for people affected by rare diseases. RareMe connects patients and their families with hospitals, medical institutions, pharmacies, doctors and drug developers. Users select a role as a patient, a family member or a health-care provider during registration. Patients can write diaries about their treatment, search for medicines and treatments worldwide, and find other users with similar conditions through a recommendation algorithm. The application is available on iOS and Android. The aim is to give rare disease patients equal attention and care.
RareMe App by Cong Fang has been identified as an exceptional representation of communication design by the A' Design Award. RareMe App earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Mobile Technologies, Applications and Software Design in 2021. The A' Mobile Technologies, Applications and Software Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design prize which rewards excellent design of smartphones, tablets, wearables, mobile applications, mobile games, mobile software, mobile platforms, mobile interfaces and more.
