Let’s Play School
Let's Play School is a spring festival event design created for a theme park in Seoul. The theme joins the start of the school year with the arrival of spring. School elements and cherry blossoms are combined with the theme park setting. The installation includes a school bus, a school yard and a road leading to the school, where the resident characters appear in school uniforms. Photo zones are placed at several points for visitors of all ages. Wood, metal structures, artificial flowers and LED lighting are used, and the lights create a calm mood at night.
Let’s Play School Spring Festival by jaesu Choi has been featured as a grand illustration of service design by the A' Design Awards. Let’s Play School Spring Festival earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Event and Happening Design in 2021. The A' Event and Happening Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize which rewards outstanding design of trade fairs, award ceremonies, festivals, conferences, exhibitions, concerts, product launches, charity events and more.
