Have A Good Tea
Have A Good Tea is a packaging design for a Japanese flavored tea produced in the historic city of Kawagoe. The box holds tea with cherry blossom and night cherry blossom flavors, made for the season of cherry blossom viewing. Hand-drawn watercolor illustrations show a local landscape, and the logo area is embossed to separate it from the background artwork. The box is easy to hold, is made of recyclable non-glossy high quality paper and can be taken apart for recycling. The design aims to introduce tea culture to younger people.
Have A Good Tea Package by Toshiki Okada has been featured as an exceptional representation of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Have A Good Tea Package was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2021. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize which celebrates excellent design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
