Destroy
Destroy is a public welfare poster created to encourage the protection of nature and wildlife. The poster uses graphic reconstruction, combining several elements into a single silhouette. Only a part of a panda is shown, so viewers mentally complete the whole animal, following principles of Gestalt psychology. Black and white are the only colours used, which gives the composition a strong visual impact. The poster measures 210 by 297 millimetres. Destroy is distributed electronically online and can also be printed on adhesive stickers or photo paper.
Destroy Public Welfare Posters by Lin Lin was highlighted as a grand example of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Destroy Public Welfare Posters won the Bronze A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2021. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize that recognizes excellent design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
