The Pilgrimage
Lang Song minor seminary, where preserves the history of forming the Vietnamese national script, with outstanding architecture and landscape on rice fields are the inspiration for a community based tourism development. The idea of preserving and promoting heritage value in a new age is expressed through urban planning and design around a square, recreating the connection with the river. Pilgrimage to Lang Song is a journey to find the origin of modern script. By the functional spaces and light, the design aims to give visitors a sense of sacred land converging the cultural essence of the area.
The Pilgrimage CBT Development by Scene Plus has been identified as a grand illustration of communication design by the A' Design Awards. The Pilgrimage CBT Development received the Bronze A' Design Award in Cultural Heritage and Culture Industry Design in 2021. The A' Cultural Heritage and Culture Industry Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program which rewards outstanding design of cultural heritage projects, cultural conversation, preservation, restoration and protection projects, heritage architecture and more.
