Weclip
Weclip is a mobile application designed for investing in video content through non-fungible tokens. The platform gives video content the status of a digital asset, so each work can be owned, traded and used as an investment. Creators upload videos and receive investment in return, while viewers can buy content tokens and earn gains through resale. Non-fungible token technology records ownership and reduces unclear authorship of digital files. Weclip aims to highlight the value of the content itself, beyond advertising and sponsorship revenue.
Weclip NFT Invest Platform by Youngchan Lee was selected as an innovative representation of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Weclip NFT Invest Platform was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Mobile Technologies, Applications and Software Design in 2022. The A' Mobile Technologies, Applications and Software Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize which honors excellent design of smartphones, tablets, wearables, mobile applications, mobile games, mobile software, mobile platforms, mobile interfaces and more.
