Tralock
Tralock is packaging designed for a travel suitcase lock. The box is shaped like a small suitcase, which links the package directly to the purpose of the product. The name combines the words travelling and lock, and the letter o in the logo is shaped as a keyhole. The structure has two layers. A blister core holds the lock and the keys in place, and a cardboard layer carries the printed design. A diecut allows the buyer to see the product inside. The bright colours reflect the theme of travel and help the packaging stand out.
Tralock Lock Packaging by Bakhtiyar Baimurzayev has been highlighted as a creative illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Tralock Lock Packaging was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2022. The A' Packaging Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program which honors outstanding design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
