Aenaon
Aenaon is a cosmetic box designed so that light passes through the packaging and the product inside. The box is made of Rives Sensation Mat paper of 370 grams with FSC certification. The exterior is printed in black in an abstract monochrome pattern and embossed on all sides. Cut openings create transparency and clarity. Inside, composite paper bases form a set of shapes that hold the product in place. Each box is assembled by hand, with close attention to the inner bases. Two sizes were produced, and the paper can be recycled after opening.
Aenaon Cosmetic Box by Spiros Gizas was featured as an outstanding illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Aenaon Cosmetic Box was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2022. The A' Packaging Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program which recognizes outstanding design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
