Kagoshima Shinsen Cha
Kagoshima Shinsen Cha is packaging for a bottled green tea produced in Kagoshima, Japan. The label uses white as the base color, so the green color of the tea is clearly visible. Two simple tea leaf shapes and traditional Japanese colors are placed on the label. The logo joins the initial of the producer, the volcano Sakurajima and the letters T, E and A within a single Kanji character. Hiragana is used in the product name to express a Japanese atmosphere. The same design is applied to shipping boxes, banners, posters and flyers.
Kagoshima Shinsen Cha Green Tea Beverage by Shoichiro Takei has been identified as an outstanding example of communication design by the A' Design Awards. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award that recognizes outstanding design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
