Magic Fitness

Magic Fitness is a gamified fitness application for smartphones and smartwatches. The application helps users build daily exercise habits. Health behaviors recorded by the devices are turned into magic energy inside the game. The magic energy raises the level of a magic avatar and earns gold coins. Coins can be used to buy items, change costumes and support real charity events. Users set fitness goals, view weekly and monthly progress, and share health trends with other users. The aim of the design is to raise motivation for regular exercise.

Magic Fitness Mobile and Smartwatch Application by Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen was selected as an outstanding illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Magic Fitness Mobile and Smartwatch Application was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interface, Interaction and User Experience Design in 2022. The A' Interface, Interaction and User Experience Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program which rewards superior design of websites, mobile applications, software interfaces, game interfaces, wearable interfaces, virtual reality interfaces, augmented reality interfaces, dashboard designs and more.
