Allys
Allys is a coffee packaging design created for a coffee house. The packaging is a flat bottom pouch that holds 8 ounces of ground or whole bean coffee. A one way degassing valve keeps the coffee fresh, and a pull tab zipper allows the bag to be resealed after use. The illustrations were hand painted and inspired by the trees and vines of Bali and the sunset over Chichen Itza in Mexico. The bags are made from natural resources such as seaweed and hemp, and they can be reused. The aim is a simple, vibrant and distinctive look.
Allys Coffee Packaging by Meghana Reddy was featured as a creative representation of communication design by the A' Design Award. Allys Coffee Packaging earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2022. The A' Packaging Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design prize which honors exceptional design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
