Shangfang Large Seal Script

Shangfang Large Seal Script is a gift box package designed for a building block toy. The form is inspired by the jade seal of ancient China, so the package is shaped as a square tray with a lid. The lid is made of acrylic with gold stamped letters, and the tray is made of red touch paper with an EVA lining and a velvet backing. Internal grids store each component separately, so a required piece can be found easily. A transparent inner box of frosted PVC allows the assembled work to be displayed, giving the package a second use.

Shangfang Large Seal Script Building Block Packaging won the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2024. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize that celebrates exceptional design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
