Pepsi x Spotify
Pepsi x Spotify is a limited edition beverage can design created for an Egyptian audience. The artwork combines the visual identities of Pepsi and Spotify in equal measure. Bold Pepsi blue is mixed with the bright green shared by Spotify and by the rap scene in Egypt. The background uses glitch patterns and layers of cut paper with handwritten song lyrics. A QR code printed on the can allows people to listen to a Pepsi song created for a cashback campaign. An influencer kit was produced alongside the can.
Pepsi x Spotify Beverage Packaging by PepsiCo Design and Innovation has been highlighted as an innovative representation of communication design by the A' Design Award. Pepsi x Spotify Beverage Packaging was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2024. The A' Packaging Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition that recognizes outstanding design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
