Pepsi Super Bowl LVII Alumitek

Pepsi Super Bowl LVII Alumitek is a limited edition beverage bottle created for a major football event hosted in Phoenix, Arizona. The design draws inspiration from the surrounding desert landscape, known for its vast sky and distinctive flora and fauna. A vibrant gradient moves from black to purple to orange, recalling an Arizona sunrise. Printing capabilities were pushed to build a sense of depth. Silhouetted icons are placed across the desert scene of cacti and bushes, paying homage to local wildlife such as coyotes, snakes and birds.

Pepsi Super Bowl LVII Alumitek Beverage Packaging by PepsiCo Design and Innovation was selected as an exceptional illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award. Pepsi Super Bowl LVII Alumitek Beverage Packaging was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2024. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design prize that rewards outstanding design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
