VMware
VMware vSphere Advantage Configuration Management is a user interface for managing configurations in on-premises data centers. Information technology administrators can create configuration templates, combine the templates into desired state profiles, and assign each profile to a server. The system compares current settings with the assigned profile at scheduled intervals and reports any drift on a central dashboard. Role-based access control and audit logs support compliance. The centralized approach reduces manual work and configuration errors.
VMware Configuration Management by Bing Wu was featured as a creative example of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. VMware Configuration Management was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interface, Interaction and User Experience Design in 2025. The A' Interface, Interaction and User Experience Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design prize which rewards superior design of websites, mobile applications, software interfaces, game interfaces, wearable interfaces, virtual reality interfaces, augmented reality interfaces, dashboard designs and more.
