Panpan
Panpan is a limited edition gift box designed to hold brand products and selected gifts. The outer form is inspired by ancient Chinese food boxes, while the decoration follows the Chinoiserie style popular in Europe in the 18th century. Famous Chinese and French landmarks are combined with the brand character in hot stamped illustrations. The box is made of cardboard, with metal plates on the front and back. Wheat patterns on the side and bamboo patterns inside are embossed in gold paper. The flip lid is held closed by magnets.
Panpan Limited Gift Box by Wu Yao was identified as an exceptional representation of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Panpan Limited Gift Box earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2025. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize which honors outstanding design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
