SkinAI
SkinAI is a browser based skin analysis tool for desktop and mobile devices. Users answer a short set of skin related questions and take a guided face photo. Machine learning then evaluates six key skin concerns and returns a health score for each concern. A personalized report is created, along with product recommendations that can be explored or purchased directly. The interface is responsive and follows a mobile first approach, guiding each user step by step with few steps and instant results.
SkinAI Skin Analyzer by Melisa Aksun was highlighted as a grand representation of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. SkinAI Skin Analyzer earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Digital Product Design in 2025. The A' Digital Product Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design award which honors excellent design of digital products, apps, E-Books, virtual reality experiences, interactive websites, digital games, E-Learning platforms, wearable technologies, digital art installations and more.
