Stage
Stage Ring Box is a proposal ring box designed to extend the moment when the ring is revealed. Instead of opening in an instant, the box raises the ring slowly as the base is rotated, and a small baffle moves aside. The gradual movement recalls a performer rising from the middle of a stage and lengthens the sense of expectation. The body is made of resin with a painted outer surface and a simple shape that is easy to form with a mold. The aim is to strengthen the ceremonial feeling of a marriage proposal.
Stage Proposal Ring Box by Yiting Liu was recognized as an innovative illustration of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Stage Proposal Ring Box earned the Iron A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2020. The A' Packaging Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize that honors outstanding design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
