Go Training Institution
Go Training Institution is a visual identity project created for a school that teaches the Chinese board game Go. The identity uses positive and negative shapes, a visual idea related to the balance found in Go culture. Line drawing in the traditional ink and brush style is combined with the gesture of playing Go. Traditional elements are joined with contemporary and youthful forms to suit children. Printed items include name cards, writing paper and teaching cards, produced with digital printing and laser engraving. The intent is to promote Chinese culture visually.
Go Training Institution Branding by Seethink has been identified as an innovative illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award. Go Training Institution Branding earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2020. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize that celebrates outstanding design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
