The design language of Full card-case is "hollow out", which explored the relationship between inside function and appearance of the product. A slender hollow has been milled on the body to show the metal Refill inside. The shape formed the proper area for holding the pen, which find the balance between beauty and human engineering. Furthermore, Full weighs 19 grams, which provides good sense of holding to enhance its user experience.
Continue readingQui is a magnetic clip holder for pens and pencils. The name means here in Italian. The clip fits pens and pencils of different sizes and attaches to any metal surface. An adhesive magnetic disc is included for non-metallic surfaces, such as a wall, a computer, a bag or a notebook. The body is made of ABS by injection molding, and the metal parts are cut and laser engraved. Qui measures 38 mm in height, 12 mm in width and 13 mm in depth. Bright colors make the holder easy to find at a glance.
Continue readingEternity is a metal pen designed for everyday writing. The body is made of aluminum and is shaped by high-precision CNC turning of an aluminum tube. The surface is frosted by sandblasting and polishing, then treated with anodic oxidation to make the texture smooth and glossy. The frosted finish softens the reflection of the metal and gives a delicate touch. The random texture refers to the circle as a symbol of time. The clip is cast in zinc alloy and hand ground, and a built-in spring structure holds the pen in books and pockets.
Continue readingElte Btk Hok is a visual identity and website design created for the Students Union of the Faculty of Liberal Arts at Eotvos Lorand University. The former logo was redesigned to provide a new basis for the renewed identity and online appearance. The structure of the eleven page website was rewritten according to user interface and user experience criteria. Navigation tiles are placed at the top of every page to help visitors move through the site. The website is fully responsive and works on laptops, tablets and smartphones.
Continue readingLifelong Online is an e-commerce website created for the presentation and sale of high value consumer products. The design follows a minimal visual style, with core navigation, secondary navigation and tickers placed along the F shaped pattern used to read web content. Category tags and filters were redesigned as a multi grid system that explains each collection. Carousels highlight product features and tickers deliver information quickly. Open space and a simplified information architecture reduce clutter and support faster purchase decisions.
Continue readingUnfinished Farewell is a memorial website created to commemorate people who died during the COVID-19 pandemic. Each person is given an individual chamber that visitors can enter. Inside each chamber, visitors can read the story of the deceased and the help-seeking messages posted before the death, and can also leave a message. Messages left by the public float within the space. Portraits scatter and vanish when touched. The particle system is built with three.js and the floating text with p5.js. Information was gathered from families and from public posts.
