Ossed

The collector called Ossed, on the contrary to common perception, collects the fruits or autumn leaves as a safety net before they fall on the ground. Instead of human effort it utilizes the power of nature such as gravitation, wind, rain, freeze and warmth of the sunshine. This collector enables to harvest the ripe fruit continuously in every weather. The fruits are protected not only from fall damages, but also from molds, bugs and worms.
Ossed Collector by Julius Szabó has been recognized as a creative example of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Ossed Collector received the Bronze A' Design Award in Agricultural Tools, Farming Equipment and Machinery Design in 2022. The A' Agricultural Tools, Farming Equipment and Machinery Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design prize which rewards superior design of tractors, harvesters, plows, irrigation systems, seeders, sprayers, balers, cultivators and more.
